How to prepare your pet for grooming
Six things that make the appointment easier for your pet — and let us do better work in less time.

Brush at home first
A light brush-out two or three days before lets us catch mats early — and keeps the visit shorter and calmer.

Skip the bath before you come
A washed, half-dried coat tangles fast. Bathing is part of every service here, so leave it to us.

Walk your dog before drop-off
A walk and a bathroom break make a big difference on the table.

Feed lightly, not right before
A small meal two or three hours ahead is ideal — a full stomach right before is not.

Bring vaccination proof
Current rabies vaccination is required for all pets. Bring or email a copy before your first visit.

Questions we get every day
How often should I bring my dog in?
Most coats do best every 4–8 weeks. Doodles and other curly coats need the shorter end of that; short-haired breeds can stretch longer. We'll suggest a date at pick-up.
Do you need proof of vaccination?
Yes. Current rabies vaccination is required for all pets. Bring a copy to your first visit or email it to us beforehand — we keep it on file after that.
Do you work with cats?
Yes. Cats are groomed by appointment during quiet hours, by groomers with years of feline handling experience: bath, brush-out, nails, lion cuts and sanitary trims.
How long does a session take?
A small dog full groom takes 2–3 hours, a large dog 3–4 hours, a bath about an hour, and cats 1–2 hours. We text you as soon as your pet is ready.
When and how do I pay?
You pay at pick-up, once you've seen the result. No deposit or prepayment. We accept [cash and all major credit cards].
At what age can a puppy start grooming?
As soon as your puppy has had the rabies vaccination. Start with a short first visit — bath, nails and a face tidy-up — so grooming becomes a routine, not a scary event.
What if my dog is nervous or reactive?
Tell us when you book. We work at your dog's pace with breaks, and one groomer stays with your pet from start to finish. Anna is especially gentle with senior and anxious dogs — ask for her.
What do I do if my dog is matted?
Don't try to cut mats out at home — it's easy to nick the skin. Bring your dog in: we check the coat together and tell you whether careful de-matting is possible or a short, comfortable clip is kinder. De-matting is billed per 15 minutes, and we quote before we start.
Should I bathe my dog before the appointment?

What is your cancellation policy?
